Obesity surgery can only be considered in patients who meet specific conditions.

The calculation of your Body Mass Index (BMI = Weight / Height²) is important to know if you can benefit from obesity surgery, see INDICATION below.

The Preoperative Assessment informs you of the order of tests to be performed and appointments to be scheduled, on the compulsory preoperative course.

Check the contraindications for bariatric surgery, in accordance with the recommendations of the High Authority for Health (HAS), by clicking on HAS second section.

Note that a lifelong change in your eating habits is essential, whatever the chosen procedure. Bariatric surgery is not a cosmetic surgery. Long-term monitoring is necessary.
